What is True Rejection of Our Lord Jesus Christ?

By Charles Crosby The question of the age: Do the unsaved actually reject Jesus Christ, or better, can they do anything else but 'reject' Him? Now here is a dictionary definition of rejection? To renounce, denounce, throw away or discard with no further use for - to treat with utter contempt. Now, in order for this reaction to happen i.e. when rejecting a person, there has to have been a real on going relationship in the first place in order for real rejection to take place. To treat someone with utter contempt you must have grounds or a substantive reason, to come to the decision to treat the person in this way. When a boyfriend dumps his girlfriend or a girlfriend dumps her boyfriend their relationship is brought to sudden end and rejection has most definitely taken place. If, on the other hand, you were to walk up to a stranger in the street and tell him you reject him, he would look at you, probably scratch his head in bewilderment, and if he were a kind person, ask you, if you felt OK. If not a kind person, he would probably tell you to do the other thing in no uncertain terms and consider you unhinged. Now this, obviously, is not rejection, yet it is on this very same ridiculous notion that mainstream 'Christianity' bases their muddled ideas on rejection of Jesus Christ by the lost and the unsaved. In the event of 'rejecting' Jesus Christ on the sandy foundation of the latter example, i.e. that we are strangers to Jesus Christ, how can that be rejection? The lost and the unsaved are complete strangers to Jesus Christ, they don't know Him nor do they acknowledge Him and He doesn't know them either. Many today now say He never even existed, so how can there be rejection!! The whole idea and nonsense that the unsaved masses 'reject' Jesus Christ is patently a lie and a myth - something that has literally been made up by men of religion - It certainly isn't Biblical. Now, as described earlier, to reject Jesus Christ on the metaphorical boyfriend/girlfriend basis as in John 6:66, "From that time many of his disciples went back and walked no more with him." there is only a certain punishment awaiting the individual concerned, for being so cowardly, foolish and/or wicked. Furthermore, if this individual continues in his stubborn refusal to come back to The Lord, he or she will then be, as Hebrews states, in big trouble: Hebrews 10:26-27 "For if we sin wilfully (voluntarily without a thought or consideration) after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, 27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation (God's wrath), which shall devour the adversaries." (Brackets mine) This passage applies to people who, now notice, sin wilfully after receiving knowledge of The Truth, and who is The Truth? Jesus Christ of course. These people in John 6 were really rejecting Jesus Christ, they had come to know Him personally, but turned their backs on Him - that is true rejection and cannot be likened nor compared to the non-existent relationship between the unsaved and Jesus Christ. However, yet even whilst Our Lord was dying in agony on the cross He said: "Father, forgive them for they know not what they do." What we have to ask ourselves here is this: did The Father answer Our Lord's request? Most assuredly He did, for that is what His sacrifice and the gift of Grace is all about. He died whilst we were still sinners, whilst still in our sins, so that at the point of our calling, everything has already been done for us and all we have to do is believe and more importantly; keep on believing through thick and thin - trusting in faith. Right, all the above knowledge and Truth is a fundamental fact which mainstream Christianity misses and misunderstands because they think that any unsaved human being that 'rejects' Jesus Christ in this life is doomed to fiery eternal damnation or hell - their favourite word. OK, let's assume, just for this article, they are right and we apply this idea to the masses regarding Salvation; all the while bearing in mind that God is a God of love, mercy and forgiveness and at the same time, Jesus Christ said these very words regarding the masses whilst He walked this earth: Matt 13:10-15. "And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? 11 He answered and said unto them, because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. 12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. 13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. 14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: 15 For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them." (Emphasis mine) These verses clearly state that Jesus Christ was hiding The Truth from the majority of people with only a select few, the called and chosen - the twelve disciples, privy to knowing Jesus Christ and Him as The Truth. All this Biblical evidence flies in the face of the teachings of mainstream 'Christianity' even the whole idea that The Father is calling millions of people to His Son in this life. Why do they do this and think this way? Easy, they are deceived by men of religion and are therefore deluded. Now this 'rejection' by the unsaved that these deceived Christians get all hung up about can be likened to a child called Johnny who when offered a meal that mum has never prepared before will often say "ugh, I don't like it and I don't want it - I hate it" and no amount of persuasion by mum, will get naughty little Johnny to change his mind. However, this is not true rejection of what his mum is offering him because he doesn't know how good the meal is and won't know until he's tried it and what's more, his loving mum knows this. This is how it is with the unsaved and their 'rejection' of what Our Lord offers them. This is why He said "Father forgive them for they know not what they do." They cannot know what they are doing, because only The Father can open their eyes to show them how lost they are and thereby give them the ability to want to know Him. We as lost souls cannot of ourselves, make a decision to follow Jesus Christ - it's impossible!! This is the fundamental that mainstream Christianity doesn't understand - the unsaved don't know what they are doing. Now I will add in one of my favourite Scriptures; John 6:44 "No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day." Now notice this Scripture carefully, for it is as important for what it doesn't say as for what it does say. What if the Father is not calling everyone now in this age and what of all those who will be part of the second resurrection? Rev 20, for there is a physical resurrection; Ezekiel's famous valley of bones proves that. This resurrection is unlike our Born Again Spiritual resurrection which we as true believers in this age will be part of when Our Lord returns - The First Resurrection [1 Cor 15]. This resurrection predates the second resurrection by one thousand years. Rev 20:5. So what is this second resurrection? Rev 20:12 "And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened :" These people are resurrected and judged (evaluated) by their works, and we know salvation cannot be earnt by works. These people are dead; notice "And I saw the dead small and great stand before God." Not literally dead because they're standing before God's Throne, yet they are still dead. How can this be? This can be because they are Spiritually dead not physically dead, so this means these people have yet to live second physical lives in The Kingdom of God and will be given their first chance to repent. This is why John 6:44 is so crucial, because no one can come to Jesus Christ unless The Father draws them. Now moving on, ask yourselves this question: How will this occur? "All Israel shall be saved?" For this is what Our Lord says through Paul in Romans 11:26. What of all the Jews and Israelites that have died in their sins having 'rejected' Jesus Christ, having never repented of those sins in this life? Are we, in our stubborn ignorance, going to condemn the unsaved and at the same time create another 'Biblical contradiction'? Well I for one, am not. Finally and apart from what I have written above on this subject, there is seemingly another twist to this. In Matthew 28:19-20 it says this: "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen." Now, is this Scripture a contradiction of what The Lord said in Matthew 13? No, no way, for there are no contradictions in God's Word just our poor understanding of it. The Lord tells us to teach all nationalities, all peoples, but notice, He doesn't say "so that multiple millions of them will be converted" Yes, teach all nationalities, but only those I have called and chosen. There we are, Matthew 28:19-20 now has a totally different meaning to what mainstream 'Christianity' believes and all due to the fact that they think this life is the only opportunity for mankind to be saved; a blasphemy and a nonsense, and to prove it, let's go to 1 Tim 2:4 "Who will have (desires) all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth." (Brackets mine.) If God desires something do you think He is going to have His desires satiated or not? Is God all powerful or weak? I will leave you all to answer this question for yourselves. Right, there we have it, concrete evidence that all men will come to the knowledge of The Truth, and who is The Truth? Jesus Christ is The Truth. So all men will come to know Jesus Christ, but when? Well we have a fantastic idea to turn a boring old pair of socks into a cute, cheeky, little sock monkey. All you will need is... A pair of socks in any size, needle and thread, toy stuffing, 2 buttons for eyes and a sewing machine is an advantage but not essential Take the first sock, turn it inside out and lay it out flat heel up. Mark out the centre of the sock up to 4 cm below the heel line. With a dewing machine, if you have one, stitch 1 cm away from the centre line and sew down towards the ribbed part of the sock. Sew down to the bottom edge, turn away from the centre line and sew across the ribbed section to form a foot. Stitch the other side of the centre line to match. Now cut up the centre line to divide the legs. Turn the sock the right way out through the hole at the monkey's crotch. Lightly stuff the monkey's body and legs and sew up the hole in the crotch with invisible stitches. Another Idea for Recycling those Old Wire Hangers

By Ron Maier Jr. Now that the age of hangers has shifted and most people have changed to plastic or wooden hangers, there is a surplus of wire hangers, especially those that come from the dry cleaners, scattered around the house or in the floors of closets. Why not uses those old pieces of useful wire to make a fund craft that your kids will enjoy. Not only will it solve the wire hanger problem, but it will also provide a way to keep your childrens minds stimulated and hands busy with an inexpensive craft. In this example, you will learn how to coach your kids through making and designing their own wire mask. Kids love to play dress up, and there is nothing more fun than playing with a mask for make-believe. So grab those unwanted wire clothes hangers around the house along with old knee-high nylons, glue, scissors, markers or crayons, and any other decorative items like glitter, yarn, pipe cleaners, wiggly eyeballs, or fabric scraps. Once you have these items assembled, you are ready to move forward with the craft, so call your kids into the playroom or wherever you have assembled the materials and start of with step one. Using the hook like a handle, bend the triangular shape of the wire clothes hanger into the desired shape of your childs mask. A diamond is very easy and works great since you need only stretch the hanger out by pulling the hook away from the middle of the bottom wire (kind of like drawing a bow and arrow). If you want to get a little more creative you can form the hanger into an oval, square, or any other shape. For example, some kids might like to make a mask for Valentines Day, so you might help them shape the hanger into a heart shape. After the hanger is shaped, the hook of the hanger is now the handle (or holder) for the mask, think of those masquerade style party masks that people hold up to their face. Next, take a knee-high nylon that you collect for this craft and stretch it over the top of the shaped part of the hanger. This will create a flat figure in the shape of the hanger that you bent. If you kids want the mask to look three dimensional, they can even press their face into the stretchy nylon to make the relief of their face through the mask. After you have made the basic form, it is time for the decorating process. To keep it simply, you can just provide markers or other writing utensils for the kids to draw on the nylon with. If you want to get more involved they can use all of the decorative items listed above or more. You would be surprised how much time decorating their mask can take up. Secondly, everyones body functions differently. The diet that works for one person may not work for another. In the end, diets do not work. Diets by nature are restrictive and require rules to be followed. Once the goal is achieved and the dieter goes off the diet they typically return to the old eating habits that got them to the place that they needed a diet to begin with. So what can be done? Follow a few simple guidelines. Eat fewer calories than are burned. This can be accomplished either by eating less or exercising more or some combination of the two. The eating plan should be balanced and sustainable. Generally, increasing water consumption goes a LONG way in creating a more balanced eating plan. Water can help with energy fluctuations and cravings. If the body dehydrated it begins to shut down. Craving sweets to help perk us up often counteracts this. Water can also help curb appetite surges. Increasing vegetables in the diet is another way to control calorie consumption. Since most vegetables are relatively low in calories and fiber rich, they keep us full longer with fewer calories. The fiber in the vegetables also gives us energy over a longer period of time. Focusing on WHOLE gains as opposed to processed food is always a good goal. It is almost impossible to overeat on whole grains due to their denseness. Think of gorging yourself on a large plate of pasta and then imagine yourself doing the same thing with a huge plate of brown rice. Not possible. Furthermore, since whole grains have more fiber they also fill us up faster and give us energy over a longer period of time. Lastly, do not overlook the importance of fat. Fat gives us the mouth feel of food. This allows us to be more satisfied with the food we are eating. Again, the result is we eat less. A good example is fat-free cookies; people generally eat more of them than full fat cookies. Fat also slows down the absorption of food, again allowing us to be satisfied for a longer period of time. Focus on healthy fats such as olive oil or avocados. Weight loss is an obsession for so many people. These people have likely bought many diet books and have lost and gained the same weight numerous times. Exercise caution when meeting her friends. Take an interest but not too much. Listen carefully when you meet her friends for the first time. Try to hang on to as much information about them as possible. After the meeting when you're alone with your girlfriend, make a casual comment or ask a question RELATED to the earlier meeting. This lets her know that you were listening and that you have a real interest in getting to know her friends. Again this is a balancing act but for the most part you can pretty much figure that saying "you're girlfriend with the blue dress and cute dimples looked hot" is asking for trouble. Unconditional love is usually the kind of love parents share with their children. There are the obvious exceptions but overall, parents love their kids no matter what and without any conditions. You love them when they are good and even when they are bad. You would give them the world if you could and dont expect anything in return. That is unconditional love. But where is the unconditional love in marriage. Two people have pledged their life to one another and yet, there doesnt seem to be any hint of unconditional love anywhere. There is a lot of he hurt me so Ill hurt him back (or vice versa), jealousy, sex is a chore, I am too tired, he just doesnt look like the man I married, she doesnt let me do the things I would like to do, etc. Where is the love? Most all of lifes misunderstandings can be cleared up by just talking about it right away. It is truly as simple as that. Secret #2: I know this again sounds pretty simple but it works. Nick and I tell each other we love each other several times a day. We never know when something horrible could happen (God forbid) and that person could be gone forever. There is never too much when saying how much you love them. Secret #3: Put that person first before anything else. No matter what your friends and family may tell you, it is crucial to always uplift your spouse above all others. They need to know that they are the most important person in your eyes and vice versa. In the land of love, it is you two against the world and that is the truth. You are in a marriage with this person and you have vowed to love, honor and cherish. That means that you honor your spouse by placing them #1 in your eyes. Secret #4: Life is going to throw you curve balls. The key is not to blame each other but to learn how to work together to blast those curve balls out of the park. Massage For a single massage, blend 2-3 drops of essential oil in 10ml carrier oil (sweet almond is good for a massage). Do not use more than a total of 5 drops of different oils per massage.
